• Students find out about effective functioning of the entire organism and its constituent cells as dependent upon integration of the structure and function of individual organ systems such as the respiratory, circulatory, and digestive systems.

Genes: What Makes Us the Way We Are?

• Students find out about genes as the mechanism by which information is transferred from one generation to the next and about the interaction of genes with each other and with the environment making us the way we are.
