The Science for Today and Tomorrow Project
Science for Today and Tomorrow (SfTT) is three supplementary units in life science for grades 6-8. One unit focuses on cells, a second on human organs, and a third on genes. Incorporating a technology-enhanced design, the units consist of an integrated suite of hands-on, online, and print components. For each unit, students develop an in-depth understanding of a limited number of standards-based ideas of life science. Embedded professional development opportunities allow teachers to further their content knowledge and technical abilities in the context of their teaching.
